As part of our continued commitment to update you with our response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we would like to detail how Flower City Group is managing this critical situation.

How is COVID-19 impacting Flower City Group?

Per Empire State Development, Flower City Group has been deemed an “Essential Business” in the state of New York, and we remained open even during New York State’s temporary shutdown this spring. If this happens again moving forward, we are positioned to stay open and continue manufacturing as usual. Additionally, we will continue to follow the guidelines provided by the Center of Disease Control during this time.

As always, the best interest of our employees, our customers, and our community remain paramount, and we will not lose sight of the people who are at heart of all we do.

How does this affect customer support?

We’ve worked for years to build an agile and adaptive culture, and recent investments in a nimble ERP and a robust VPN framework enable us to keep this culture alive — even when we’re not all together. We presently have support staff in house, but are prepared to shift into a remote workflow should it become necessary. We are as united and focused as ever.

And manufacturing?

Our production team remains in full force, while also in “full care” mode. We’ve employed every available and reasonable precaution to mitigate risk to our employees, and we will continue to do so. Bottom line? We are open for business, and we believe any impact to services will be minimal.

What else?

We are taking every step to ensure we can continue to provide uninterrupted service to our customers, while at the same time safeguarding our employees’ well-being. We will keep you posted as things progress.
